Genomics

Genomics is the complex study of the whole genome, or entire genetic material, of an organism. It deals with gene expression, and its impact on the proteins created. Basically all diseases have a genetic connection, and by learning about an individual's genome, one could prevent, cure, and increase the effectiveness of medicine.

With newer and more advanced technology, DNA sequencing has rapidly increased in speed, accuracy, and helpfulness.

Genomics is an essential part of The Revolution. Genomics is also fundamentally important in gene therapy as well. To learn more about Genomics, click on the subheadings underneath Genomics.
